Kelly Holland didn’t arrive at Aging Life Care through a straight path — she arrived through lived experience, genuine curiosity, and a deep affection for the older adults who shaped her understanding of what it means to age with dignity.

Her journey began in the classroom, where she spent years as an educator before discovering her true calling in the homes and lives of older adults. What started as private duty caregiving became something far more meaningful — a front-row education in the richness, resilience, and wisdom that older adults carry, so often underestimated by the world around them. She learned early that a caring, fully present, and genuinely curious companion will always win an elder’s heart and trust — and she built her practice on exactly that foundation.

After six years of caregiving experience, Kelly’s natural curiosity about the aging process led her back to California State University, Fullerton, where she earned a Master’s degree in Gerontology — the bio-psycho-social study of aging. Her thesis focused on family caregivers, a theme woven through her entire career and close to her heart. Her research confirmed what she had already witnessed firsthand: that adult daughters and family caregivers routinely sacrifice their own health and well-being for the sake of their loved ones — often without adequate support or guidance.

That insight became the foundation of her life’s work.

Today, with 15 years of experience across caregiving, gerontology, and care management, Kelly is the founder of Superior Aging Care LLC and holds the Certified Care Manager (CMC) credential — one of the most rigorous designations in the Aging Life Care profession. Her background as a former educator, private duty companion, gerontologist, and care manager gives her a uniquely layered perspective that few practitioners can match.

In her role as an Aging Life Care Professional, Kelly works closely with older adults and their families to navigate the complex, often emotionally charged terrain of aging. Through comprehensive assessments spanning medical, social, emotional, and environmental factors, she develops personalized care plans that reflect each client’s values, preferences, and goals. She serves as a trusted advocate, a steady guide, and — for many families — an extended member of the family itself.

Kelly believes that every older adult has a story worth knowing and a purpose worth honoring — and that the families who love them deserve an expert who will show up with both competence and compassion.
